Krakauer is an increasingly popular slightly smoky, cured pork sausage. Its coarser meat is seasoned with mustard seeds, spices and a fine note of garlic creating a delicious savoury flavour. It works well on a bun with Bautz’ner Senf and Currygewürzketchup or serve it on a plate with Sauerkraut.
To enjoy it at its best please cook it for about 5 minutes from chilled or for about 15 minutes from frozen. The sausages are all pre-cooked for risk free handling. To heat it and give it its nice colour and crisp bite please use a grill, a frying pan or an oven.
